We keep things straightforward. We collect only what is needed to serve you — whether that's notifying you about product launches via our waitlist, or following up after a conversation through our on-site chat. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information — ever.
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us — such as your name, shipping address, billing address, and email address.
Waitlists & Optional Communication: For visitors who choose to express interest in our upcoming products or join our pre-launch waitlist, we collect personal information that you voluntarily provide. This includes your name, email address, and any specific messages or inquiries you submit through our contact forms or AI chat assistant. Providing this data is completely optional and is not required to browse our public website.

We do not store or retain raw credit card or payment information on our servers.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, or arrange for a delivery, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason — such as marketing communications or waitlist updates — we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no or opt out at any time.
We use the information we collect only for the purposes it was given:
Waitlist email — to send you launch announcements, product availability notices, exclusive pre-order access, and occasional behind-the-scenes updates from the build floor. Only when there is something genuinely worth sharing.
Chat contact details — if you share your name or email via Trail Boss, a member of the AO team will follow up directly regarding your product interest. We do not use this information for automated marketing.
Payment Processing: Our store utilizes secure, encrypted third-party payment gateways (such as Stripe). Your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We do not store or retain your raw credit card information on our servers.
We will never use your information for unrelated marketing, share it with advertisers, or add you to any third-party lists without your explicit consent.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers — such as payment gateways and payment transaction processors — have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users, but only to the extent required and with appropriate legal basis.
We retain your email address for as long as you remain on the waitlist or until you request removal. Once you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we will remove it from all active systems within 30 days.
Anonymous usage analytics collected by Vercel are subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy and their standard retention schedules.

Residents of the EU/EEA have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We honour all such requests regardless of your location.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell your personal information. The only activity that may qualify as "sharing" under California law is our consent-gated use of advertising-measurement cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics). You can opt out at any time by declining or not accepting our cookie consent banner, or by emailing support@algorithmoverland.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share" — we will honour your request within 15 business days.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Our website is served exclusively over HTTPS. We limit access to any collected data to personnel who need it to operate the service.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at the address below.
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted their email to our waitlist, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
As Algorithm Overland grows, this policy will evolve. When we make material changes — such as adding a new service provider or expanding what data we collect — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email.

By using our complimentary mobile applications, you consent to the following data collection practices necessary to operate the services.
A.1 Precise Location Data (AO.Land)
AO.Land requires continuous foreground and background device GPS access to provide real-time trail routing, mapping, and group convoy navigation features. Location data is used solely for in-app navigation and is never sold or shared with third parties.
A.2 Health & Biometric Data (AO.Coach)
AO.Coach tracks fitness metrics, running pace, heart rate, and interval performance solely to generate conditioning progress reports. We never sell or lease health data to third parties. This is consumer health data — see our dedicated Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for full detail on collection, sharing, and your rights under the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws.
A.3 Camera & Spatial Data (AO.RigFit)
AO.RigFit utilises your device's camera, AR capabilities, and LiDAR sensors to execute 3D vehicle space scans and simulate hardware fitment. Visual and spatial data is processed securely on-device or within our secure infrastructure and is never shared with third parties.
A.4 Trip History, Vehicle & Coordination Data (AO.Expedition)
AO.Expedition acts as an autonomous planning agent that initiates, optimises, and coordinates group trips. To do so, it processes your trip history, saved vehicle profiles, and participant scheduling constraints and preferences. This information is used solely to generate, optimise, and coordinate expeditions within your group and is never sold or shared with third parties.
A.5 Location & Dietary Preference Data (AO.Food)
AO.Food may access your device location to tailor recommendations and recipes to your region, and stores the dietary preferences, restrictions, and taste profiles you provide to generate personalised recipes and AI meal plans. This data is used solely to personalise your in-app experience and is never sold or shared with third parties.
A.6 Email & Account Registration
Creating an app account requires a valid email address to sync cross-platform app profiles. We do not automatically enroll you in marketing. You will receive promotional updates about hardware releases and ecosystem expansions only if you affirmatively opt in, and you may withdraw that consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email. We may still send critical transactional or safety updates tied to your account.
A.7 Data Purge on Discontinuation
If an App is discontinued or removed from the App Store, we reserve the right to permanently delete all associated user profiles, location logs, and saved metrics from our active cloud infrastructure. Where operationally feasible, we will provide advance notice before deletion.
