    The widest usable floor of any pickup here. At 1410 mm (55.5 in) between the arches the DT beats an F-150 (1285 mm) and a Silverado (1295 mm) — wide enough to run a fridge and a drawer module side by side instead of in line, which no mid-size truck can do. Note the generation gap though: the older DS gives up 115 mm of that width and 217 kg of payload, so a 2015 RAM builds quite differently from a 2020 one.

    What are the RAM 1500 bed dimensions?

    The DT (2019–) Crew Cab 5'7" bed measures about 1712 × 1687 × 546 mm (67.4 × 66.4 × 21.5 in), with roughly 1410 mm (55.5 in) of flat floor between the arches — the widest of any pickup here. The 6'4" bed is about 1938 mm (76.3 in).

    How much can a RAM 1500 carry in the bed?

    About 907 kg (2,000 lb) for the DT 5'7" and 1,043 kg (2,299 lb) for the 6'4". The older DS is lower at about 690 kg (1,521 lb). Includes passengers and accessories; check the door-jamb sticker.

    Will a fridge and drawer system fit?

    Very comfortably — 1410 mm (55.5 in) between the arches is wide enough for a fridge and a drawer module side by side, which no mid-size truck can do.
