The Numbers

Measured cargo-area dimensions for the Gladiator JT (2020–). Every gear-fit call on this page is computed from these.

Dimensions are approximate and sourced from measured references — verify against your exact model year and trim before purchasing gear. Payload includes passengers and accessories; check your door-jamb sticker.

What Actually Fits

A realistic overland load against the Gladiator's 726 kg (1,601 lb) payload budget.

Sample overland build

The narrowest bed here — but not the tightest to build in. At 1270 mm (50.0 in) overall the Gladiator's bed is narrower than a Tacoma's, yet it gives up little where it counts: 1138 mm (44.8 in) of flat floor between the arches, arches only ~200 mm (7.9 in) tall, and 541 mm of depth — deeper than most mid-size trucks. Narrow and deep beats wide and shallow when you're strapping gear for a trail.

    Gladiator Bed FAQ

What are the Jeep Gladiator bed dimensions?

The JT (2020–) bed measures about 1532 × 1270 × 541 mm (60.3 × 50.0 × 21.3 in), with roughly 1138 mm (44.8 in) of flat floor between the arches. It's the narrowest pickup bed here, but deeper than most mid-size trucks.

How much can a Jeep Gladiator carry in the bed?

About 726 kg (1,601 lb) — including passengers and accessories. More than a Tacoma, well short of a Ranger. Check the door-jamb sticker.

Will a fridge and drawer system fit?

Yes — 445–935 mm fridges against 1532 mm of bed, and drawers up to about 1138 mm wide on the flat floor. The arches are low at ~200 mm (7.9 in), so gear stacks flat more easily than in a Tacoma.

Does the Kitchen Cube fit a Jeep Gladiator?

Yes, with room to spare — the 12-inch (305 mm) packed cube leaves about 236 mm (9.3 in) below the bed rail. Join the waitlist for early access.
